Purpose of the Foundation
- to support primarily archaeological research at the Abusir site and related activities
- to support the study of ancient Egypt in general, documentation of sites in Egypt and to deepen knowledge in these areas
- to expand the specialist book collection, organise seminars, conferences, lectures and exhibitions
- to support multidisciplinary research and cooperation with representatives of social science, technical and natural science disciplines
- to support specialist and popular scientific publishing activities in the field of Egyptology
- to support comparative studies of civilisations
- to award scholarships for the study of Egyptology
The purpose of the foundation also includes raising funds to support its activities, organising cultural and social events, as well as protecting and developing ethical values in the field of Egyptology.
